  • Your concern about confusing your dd is legitamate - there is no denying that it IS confusing and that bilingual children show slightly slower language development; but your dd WILL develop mastery in Spanish and English so long as there are opportunities to communicate in both languages consistently. my ds is 21 months - I speak mostly English and some Korean, dh husband speaks exclusively english
