| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - The answer is that in the da capo aria form the instrumentation of the middle section is often reduced for a chiaroscuro effect (my training in art history at the university level finally pays off!), and at times there was a complete musical contrast with different tempo and meter to relieve the sameness of a da capo aria.
