| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - Really, I think WWII was the last time the US fought defensively. 9/11 was not a military action, and the retaliation was neither defensive nor made against the perpetrators, but rather was an excuse for another offensive action against targets which had already been selected before the Towers were hit.
