  • Of course, this requires that the spellcaster already be adjacent (or otherwise already in a position to reach) the creature they???re going to touch, which likely means that they???ll be wide open to being hit if the creature in question gets to act between when they begin casting and when their segments are up, but that???s sort of the point of this alternate rule ??? it tones down the spellcast
