Drying may be by any method known in the art, including but not limited to, azeotropic distillation, as for example with a Dean-Stark trap or other apparatus for separating the water/organic distillate, drying with molecular sieves or other absorbent, either batchwise or with a column, drying with a chemical drying agent such as magnesium sulfate, and the like.
