| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - Journal I do not know what tree species that was referring to, but an increase in temperature does not necessarily lead to desertification.From what I recall, it wasn't just the increase in temperature, but the drought and insect infestations that the higher temperatures bring that was causing certain species, specifically types of pines and poplars.
