  • I agree with oldgi that mint is a good option, however since you want a more windows like desktop environment I recommend that you look into the Mint KDE release <a href="http://www.linuxmint.com/download.php">http://www.linuxmint.com/download.php</a> , KDE is more like windows but with better integration and better graphical elements (http://kde.org/screenshots/).
