| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - As I recall, Allah is a shortening of 'El/Al' and 'Ilah' or 'Illah' (Which I can not recall ATM.) The literal translation to English is the same, like Luke said, as 'Elohim', but the meaning of 'Al Ilah' comes apparently down the ages from the God of the Moon that was worshiped by the Chaldeans in Biblical times and by others as well.
