| http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#value | - I do agree that C++ is a pretty poor language, however for the development of a desktop environment and its infrastructure, I think it was a better choice than C. Libraries and frameworks are the most practical criteria for determining the effectiveness of building desktop applications, not languages.
